
The work was carried out through 4 main activities:
General conditions of sale: drafting of the general conditions of sale of the service relating to secondary shunting carried out by the ERF company;
Technical specification for management software: drafting of a technical specification for management software through a proposal for a new operating procedure for the shunting, considering the one used and the opportunity to improve and adapt this procedure to the needs of the actors involved (Imprese Raccordate – IR – or freight forwarders on their behalf; Imprese Ferroviarie – IF; Rete Ferroviaria Italiana – RFI; ERF), consistent with the organization of the primary shunting process adopted by the National Infrastructure Manager RFI in the service location of Ve. Marghera Scalo and, where possible and convenient, is inspired by it for the management of the secondary shunting;
Preliminary design insights on the basic connection: integration of the documentation required for the final design of infrastructural interventions on the basic connection covered by the previous order “Analysis of the railway network and supply at the Port of Venice”;
Preliminary design insights on the new depot/workshop: drafting of documents for preliminary design insights on the new depot/workshop.
