DITS s.r.l. was commissioned for the analytical modeling of the superstructure system. The study aims to evaluate and prove, from a theoretical point of view and with an engineering approach, the effectiveness of the anti-vibration solutions implemented on the superstructure system of the Moregine – Pioppaino and Pioppaino – Via Nocera sections of the Circumvesuviana line.

In detail, the activity aims to extend the validity of the specific results, obtained experimentally in pre-established measurement sections, to the entire section subject to the intervention.

The work is divided into the following operational phases:

PHASE I – Processing of the experimental data acquired with the ante-operam measurement campaigns.
PHASE II – Construction, calibration and validation of a simulation analytical model.
PHASE III – Modification of the analytical model with the addition of elements that reproduce the anti-vibration mat envisaged by the design solution, simulation and analysis of the results.
PHASE IV – Comparison between the data processed with the ante- and post-operam measurement campaigns and those calculated in PHASE III, evaluation report and extension of the results to all sections of the line subject to the intervention.
